Dr. Richard M. Allen is a 1990 graduate of the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, CA.

After receiving his medical degree, he was trained in a highly regarded residency program in Salt Lake City, Utah. This training experience took him to the University of Utah Medical Center, the Veterans Medical Center and many others in the area. He has been in private practice since 1992 and has practiced in Lewiston since 1996.

Dr. Allen is Board Certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.

He pursues additional continuing education credits and stays abreast of the latest in foot care innovations and surgery. Dr. Allen is also a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, and the Idaho Podiatric Medical Association where he has served as both Secretary and Treasurer.

He was appointed to the Idaho State Board of Podiatry in 1999 and served in that capacity for several years.
Dr. Allen and his wife Sheri have been married 30+ years with three children and two wonderful granddaughters (so far). Dr. Allen has been active in the Boy Scouts of America for many years and continues to do so. Mrs. Allen serves the community as a member of the Lewiston school board and has done so well over a decade (and counting).

Dr. Allen enjoys fishing, restoring a 1969 Chevelle, backpacking and will occasionally attempt to hit a golf ball.
