Dr. Richard M. Allen has been a distinguished podiatrist in Lewiston, ID for nearly 30 years. After earning his degree from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, CA in 1990, Dr. Allen completed his residency at the University of Utah Medical Center and the Veterans Medical Center, focusing on podiatric medicine and surgery.
He is Board-certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and is affiliated with the Lewis Clark Outpatient Surgery Center as well as St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, ID. Dr. Allen is committed to ongoing professional development, actively pursuing continuing education credits and staying current with the latest innovations in foot care and surgery. His contributions to the Idaho State Board of Podiatry include serving as a board member and serving as both Secretary and Treasurer of the Idaho State Podiatry Association.
Beyond his professional life, Dr. Allen is involved with his church in various capacities. He and his wife Sheri, married for over 40 years, enjoy time with their three children and 5 grandchildren. Dr. Allen’s personal interests include fishing, restoring and working on his own vehicles, backpacking, hiking, gardening and wakeboarding.
